Canoeing, kayaking, rafting and tubing trips – For many years the canoeing industry has been synonymous with the Mohican area. Canoes, kayaks, rafts and inner tubes are available for rent at several canoe liveries close to Mohican State Park.
Biking – Mohican State Park offers an 8.5 mile mountain bike trail. The scenic terrain is varied allowing for riders of all skill levels. The bike trail is open to both bikers and hikers.
Fire Tower – A thrilling climb to the top of the 80-foot fire tower will reward visitors with a treetop view of Mohican State Park and Forrest.
Fishing – The Mohican River is noted for smallmouth bass fishing, catfish, perch, bluegill, carp, crappie and largemouth bass are also abundant in the river and at nearby Pleasant Hill Reservoir.
Hiking trails – Mohican State Park has over 13 miles of trails. Lyons Falls trail follows Clear Fork Gorge and features two waterfalls. The Hemlock trail leads to the scenic covered bridge, a focal point for picnickers and hikers. The Pleasant Hill trail follows the shoreline and offers beautiful vistas of the lake.
Horseback Riding & snowmobiling – Mohican Memorial Forest, located adjacent to Mohican State Park, offers public trails for horseback riding, hiking and during the winter months, snowmobiling.
Memorial Forest Shrine – Located in a peaceful corner of the state forest, the state of Ohio’s official monument to her nearly 20,000 sons and daughters who gave their lives in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War.
Golfing – The Mohican Valley offers some of the most scenic golf courses in the state of Ohio. The Apple Valley Golf Club, Mohican Hills Golf Club, Pleasant Hill Golf Club and Round Lake Golf Club are sure to challenge any level of golfer.
Malabar Farm State Park - Located only 35 minutes northwest of Mohican Cabins, Malabar Farm provides visitors the opportunity to tour the Louis Bromfield House and Malabar Farm.
Blueberry Hill Family Farms – Blueberry Hill is open from 9 a.m. to dusk during the season, weather and crop permitting, and features over 15 acres of farm fresh blueberries.
Wolf Creek/Pine Run Grist Mill - A recently restored mill from the 1830's that is located just south of Mohican State Park on State Route 3.
Pleasant Hill Lake – Is owned by the Muskingum Water Conservancy District, and offers a beach and a marina for swimming, boating, and waterskiing.
